Great deal on the digital version of the whole series. I paid $40 for the DVD version several years ago, which was a pretty good deal back then.

The AI HD conversion was poorly done. Even at this price it's not worth it
this show came out in the 50s and it's black & white it looks great as it is don't waste your money 🤑💰

It's funny to consider how foreign the concept of owning a copy of I Love Lucy would have been to people in the 1950s who watched it when it aired on CBS.

It's worth noting that when I Love Lucy was first released digitally, the episodes were the shortened syndicated versions. They've now been updated across all streaming platforms to be the full uncut versions.

I think I got the whole Blu-ray set for $36 within the last few months. Great show but not sure $30 for digital is earth shattering given better options exist around the same price point.

Assuming it is the same source as the Blu-ray, there was only one episode that was bad and it only lasts a few seconds and has been corrected. The set is 33 DISCS....I feel sorry for people like you that thinks such a small problem justifies not only a complaint but a boycott of a purchase. The amount of work it takes to create such a release is staggering and they put it out for next to nothing. Not only that, they corrected the few seconds problem and offered replacement discs.....not only that but this show is arguably one of the top 5 shows of all time.

Definitely more than just a few seconds. Do your research 🙄🤣

This deal also includes the SD version. Does that fix the problem?

Since I was not interested in the HD version I have not purchased it so I can't tell you for certain if the SD version is okay one would assume so but I wouldn't suggest doing that I would get the DVD box set if I were you.

I own the Blu-Ray set and have an OLED TV and a high end sound system. You are exaggerating. You should be grateful it has a better than DVD of the entire series set and at a reasonable price.

Clearly you have not watched the entire series in HD yet or only have it for background noise because there are a lot of bad mistakes in the AI HD remaster
Also if you think an OLED TV and high-end sound system are going to make a difference on a show that is over 70 years old good luck with that

No, I haven't watched the entire series yet (90 hours), but I do not watch things as background noise. I have a dedicated watch room and extensive blackout / bias lighting setup. I sit in my $4K chair and watch what I turned on. Yes an OLED TV does make a serious difference on ANY source and I have thousands of black and white movies. The sound system reveals the details of the source, which is the point of having quality gear.

I don't know who you're trying to unless bragging about your equipment i.e. $4k TV etc that is lost on me but you do you LMAO
If you're ok with the flaws that's you I was just trying to help others be aware of those things and save them wasted money 💰 💰 💰
