If the LED panel fails then you cannot replace it (at least not easily, without involving the manufacturer to try and get a new part). Compared to other fans where you can just swap the bulbs if anything goes bad.

Stop spreading FUD on something you clearly know nothing about. I would suggest doing yourself a favor and doing a little bit of reading on modern technology.
These boards will last years. I put up a no-name fan+led in one of my kids' bedroom 4 years ago, and it's been rock solid. You can buy an LED board for this specific TCL for a grand total of....$20.
Deal is dead. Back to $119.98
For anyone trying to integrate with a Bond bridge or other RF system, according to FCC documents the remote operates at 433.914 MHz

The only thing with these DC fans is that some of them can be VERY STRONG, even on the lowest setting. I have a nice DC one that I put in our TV room, and while it looks great and operates very well, that thing is pretty powerful even on the lowest setting. On the highest setting, it's like a turboprop. Apparently the cheaper DC motors act like that, but I have no idea how common it is (and could be improving, for all I know).
I'd like to get a DC fan for our bedroom, but I'm wary about putting another like the one I have -- it would just be way too strong.

Deal is not dead -- you have to enter the code at checkout. Just worked when I tried a couple minutes ago.
If this was a smart fan with Alexa or Google voice control I would be tempted to get it. We always lose remotes, so voice control is necessary. I also like to be able to turn off the fan and or light after leaving the room if we forget to turn it off.

Looks like they offer a replacement LED panel for a pretty reasonable price.
