These batteries have dye spots on them, and it's very easy to get it all over your hands. And once they've been moistened and activated, they'll rub off inside your devices as well. Combined with the bitter coating increasing resistance and how hard they are to get out of the packaging, Panasonics are so much better. Also usually cheaper

just fyi, buy batteries like these from ebay. can get them dirt cheap. I've never had issues with generics either, but even name brands can be cheap there. 3.48 for 10 generic, exp 2030: https://www.ebay.com/itm/116854687464
