Bitdefender Total Security is framed as a strong, lightweight antivirus bundle for Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android, with solid scanning and heuristics and a reputation for not bogging systems down. The deal looks especially attractive at about $25 for two years, and the 10 device option adds flexibility for larger households. Activation starts when the code is used, and stacking can extend coverage up to five years if the product matches. A mismatch may create a separate concurrent license, so timing and product matching matter.

Note that you can stack it for a maximum of 5 years. So if you have more, you need to wait till you are atleast less than that to stack else it will only allow you to create a parallel license

I currently have Bitdefender Family Pack, though I don't need that many devices anymore. Could I stack with Total Security (either 5 or 10 devices), or would it run concurrently?

FYI, I had two 5 device subs and I bought the 10 device one since it was cheaper than buying two 5 device ones but they wouldn't let me add them or convert my existing subs even with a shortened proration that some companies allow so now you know. lol

I am 98% certain that you can only stack the same exact product,

My subscription expires in September. I'm hoping to buy it now and stack it.

Just as a note to people, this can stack up to 5 years max. However, this must match your existing product or it will try to add it as a separate license. I used the following steps to extend mine:
  1. Go to Bitdefender Central, log in, and go to the subscriptions tab.
  2. Click the button to activate the code. Paste your activation code in the dialog and activate.
  3. It will ask for your billing information for renewal. Scroll down to the bottom of the dialog and click the "later" link to skip it.
  4. A final dialog will ask you if you want to extend your current subscription or activate it as a new one. Choose to extend the current one.
Again, it can only stack up to 5 years. If it goes beyond that, it will try and add it as a new license.

Good timing. My current one runs out in June. $5 more than I paid last time, but I get 2 more devices for a total of 5. Last time I bought Bitdefender Internet Security - 3 devices - Purchased 6/27/24 for $2,0 slick deals. The difference with getting the Total Security vs Internet Security is that you get all platforms instead of just windows (Mac, iOS, Android).
