Community Reviews
This bundle stands out as a high-value parts package for AI or workstation-style builds, especially because the 128GB of G.SKILL RAM and the included 4TB WD_BLACK SSD carry most of the value. The RAM is described as having decent timings, and the free extras make the total pricing look far below buying the parts separately. The main oddity is the pairing of a gaming-focused 9850X3D with 128GB of memory and no GPU, which feels overbuilt for gaming and underbalanced for the CPU. It makes the most sense if the RAM and storage are the real draw.
Common Questions (5)
The 9850X3D is a gaming-focused CPU, but 128GB of RAM is overkill for gaming and 32GB is plenty for that use case. The bundle makes more sense if you need the memory for heavier workloads rather than a typical gaming build.
Yes. 128GB system RAM can help run large local AI models, especially when models are too big for GPU VRAM and need CPU RAM offloading; CPU-only inference will be slower, but hybrid CPU+GPU setups can work well. It is also useful for memory-heavy tasks like MoE models and some fine-tuning workflows.
Yes, the RAM purchase can include a WD_BLACK SN7100 4TB SSD as a freebie, so the advertised RAM+SSD pricing may be inflated. That makes the bundle look better than a simple $1700 RAM plus $500 SSD add-on.
A part-out comparison put the bundle at about $3022 in separate retail pricing, while another breakdown estimated the RAM alone at around $1700 and the rest of the bundle effectively free. That is why it is being treated as a strong deal despite the odd component mix.
Not really, because the bundle does not include a GPU and you would still need to spend roughly $400-$500 on even a basic one. For a more balanced build, the comments suggest cutting the RAM down and putting the savings toward a decent GPU.

(The 128GB Alone is 1700 bucks, so literally this is the same price as just the RAM.)
I could keep the CPU and $125 on top, but realistically eBay fees would be about $250, but still this CPU for $125 is crazy.
It is kind of an annoying amount of work to sell all this on eBay though
So 4tb NVME, Resident Evil 9, $110 mobo, Random fan, and Crimson Desert all included as extras. I ended up picking up a case, psu, and AIO cooler and still stayed under $2900.
I am confused, but I am here for it!
I just need to buy CPU, MB and AIO. I am hoping for Intel Nova Lake 52 core CPU and Z990 MB to be good. If not, my current systems are just fine for years.
