Great deal! Bought the 65in for 1500, if I had found this it would have been a no brainer.

That really doesn't apply any more. That was primarily for Web 1.0, shops were starting up, running fast, ran with losses to gain market share, their software had bugs, and we got "paid" with discounts helping them with price mistakes and such.

That has not been a thing for a long time. This is clearance, YMMV, and if you can save some time effort and fuel by not driving over, a call is a great way to do that. Especially with a big shop like Sam's. People repeat it by rote, 'Never Call", as it has been repeated over time, without actually thinking about it anymore.

First Rule, might be the Zeroth Rule and scratched, along with Pricewatch Frown, Fatwallet Frown, the Old Woot 1.0 Frown (I mean the purple one), and Dr Koop. And hard drive prices that always went down apparently, pre AI datacenter era.

TL;DR: Fire away, Gridley! Make all the calls you want
Nice try retail store employee.

No, the purpose of not calling is to not tip off the employees who will buy/hide them all.

Quick put it behind the 20 boxes of nearly expired Cheerios

Nice, recently picked up a open box S90F 77" (Fair condition but came with original packaging and all accessories with a screen time of 57 hours) from BB for $1302. This is a great deal for new.

Does return/rebuy work at Sam's club? Anyone try it?
Same question.

1 location has it at the clearance price but no stock, but another location has stock but full price

Wondering if I could buy it at the full price location and then do a return re-buy at the cheaper location

I miss the Slickdeals of old when this was true. You don't see the kind of deals you can screw up with a phone call anymore
Even letting an associate know is bad

If entering the zip code shows it's out of stock, is it still worth the trip? It's a 2-hour drive, and I doubt even my small car could fit it all.
