Community Reviews
Bose Ultra Open earbuds stand out for their open ear comfort and awareness, making them useful for workouts, biking, shopping, and hearing what is happening around you. The fit is described as extremely comfortable and easy to forget, with no ear canal sweat or pressure. Sound is generally good to better than expected, but the open design does not provide noise canceling. Main drawbacks are short battery life around four hours, weak phone call microphones, and recurring connection issues for some pairs.
People who want to stay aware while biking or shopping, because the open-ear fit stays comfortable and lets outside sounds through.
Wearers with regular earbuds that hurt or trap sweat, because these stay comfortable for long sessions and do not cause ear-canal sweating.
Listeners who mainly need casual music at home or workouts, because the earbuds sound good and do not fall off during movement.
People who dislike in-ear pressure, because the fit is so comfortable they can forget they are wearing them.
People who need reliable phone calls, because the microphone can be poor and calls can be borderline unusable.
People who depend on a stable Bluetooth connection, because the earbuds can lose connection or stop transmitting audio.
Listeners who want strong noise isolation, because the open-ear design does not provide good noise canceling.
People who need all-day battery life, because playback can last about four hours and audio can cut out around mid-battery.

They are very comfy, almost too comfy as you wont notice if you lose them. Good for music and audio when you want to stay aware. Like bike riding or shopping.
Just note that the battery life is pretty good but I've had issues where the buds will simply lose audio at about %50 battery. Like they will still be on and "working" mechanically but they won't transmit any audio. Even if you unpair and reset. No idea why as it doesn't always happen but it's happened enough that it became a nuisance as I wear these at work.
These are far and away, the most comfortable headphones I have ever worn. I forget they're on me.
Sound is just OK, and phone calls are borderline unusable.
If regular headphones don't fit you well, these are the holy Grail with a few sacrifices in audio quality and phone call capability.
$180 is expensive for what these are but relatively good value.
Only downsides for me have been the delay in activation when I use voice dictation, they are uncomfortable if you are laying on your side (obviously), and the mics aren't great. They have quickly become favorites though.
