What are you trying to show with that link? Sure it's a 5070, but half the RAM? And $50 more? That's not a better deal at all.

eh, that's half the ram. Given that the cheapest 32gb DDR5 kit right now is gonna be atleast $250, this could be a better deal for some. If we weren't in the middle of a Memory shortage with no signs of it slowing down and possibly only getting worse this deal makes total sense.

5060 performance isn't too far from 5070 but upgrading from 16gb to 32gb memory can cost quite a bit of money.

Community Reviews

This Legion Pro 5 pairs a 16 inch 1600p OLED 165Hz display with a Ryzen 7 8745HX, RTX 5060, 32GB RAM, and 1TB SSD, making it strongest as a premium screen gaming laptop with generous memory. The 32GB configuration stands out because upgrading laptop RAM is costly right now, and the OLED panel gets praise for brightness and image quality. The main knocks are the $1180 price, the 8GB VRAM limit, and the lack of USB4 on this CPU version. It is a solid fit if display quality and memory matter more than chasing the cheapest 5060.

Not a good price for a 5060. We have 5070 deals at this price now. And this has been as low as $1049-$1099. Idk why this is being thumbed up.

5070 with surrounding components that are appropriately matched?
not sarcastic, genuine interest
