no really they are

you'll never go back to a non-DC fan again

really is 12 speeds

SUPER QUIET

very low power use

only downside is they turn themselves off after several hours

and after a few years I can no longer remove the blade to clean it, very stuck and afraid to break it

Bummer, I use fans for the noise and could use a new one.

This is a great price for an amazing value fan. DC motors are 👌🏽
Nothing matches it even at the usual price which is about $45-50 on Walmart.
