I was looking for a set with a large variety of sizes (since I have a lot of projects that call for them). Thought this set of 25 would cover all my bases, but a closer look shows a whole bunch of doubles/triples of many sizes. Doesn't instill confidence in their longevity if you need 3 of each bit!

Drill bits are a consumable item. The low end kits like this are low end for a reason, so you're probably right about setting expectations. But average human will only use one or two per size in a lifetime.
