It's expensive because it is one of two (2) chargers on the market that support AVS.
AVS is a part of the USB-PD 3.2 spec. It allows the charger to change the voltage to whatever the device requests, in much finer resolution than the large steps of the regular PD voltage profiles. This allows the device to specify the most optimal possible voltage and current combo for the current state of the battery, thus increasing charging speed and efficiency and reducing heat.
The only other charge on the market right now that does this is the Apple 40W (with 60W boost)
Also wondering if this is any better or worse than a comparable anker. It's $60 on the google store.
Also from the google store:
Output
For both Port 1 and Port 2:
USB PD 3.2 PPS
PD: 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 15V/4A, 20V/3.35A max 67W
PPS: up to 11V/3A, 16V/4A, 21V/3.35A max 67W
AVS: 9-15V/4A, 15-20V/3.35A max 67W
Max Power
Up to 67W on Port 1 or Port 2, when only 1 device is connected
Up to 60W on Port 1 or Port 2, when 2 devices are connected
Up to 67.5W Port 1 + Port 2 output, when 2 devices are connected

Is this expensive just due to the Pixel-only smart prioritization? Is there any other reason to spend this much?
