This is the first time I see a company essentially releasing the SAME phone as last year with an outdated processor.
Pixel 10a is essentially equal to Pixel 9a with same storage, memory, camera etc. The very small stuff they actually changed (screen brightness increase of 10%) won't actually matter to anyone. How is it that Google didn't upgrade the Pixel 10a to Tensor G5 or make any other meaningful upgrades?

The $100 Google store credit will expire in 365 days. Take that into account when considering this deal.

Is it worth to trade Pixel 9 (trade in value $350) for this? It shows $76.93 after tax and trade in. Just curious.
Only if you hate the camera hump

Really hope the fingerprint sensor on this one is better than the 6a. I don't have a lot of complaints about my 6a, but it is awful scanning my fingerprints. Always takes like 2 or 3 tries to finally get it.
Everything I have seen leads me to believe this is still the optical type sensor like on the 9a and the 8 series down. I feel like the scanner on the 9a is superior to the 6a, but I don't have any hard specs to back that up.

Seems like a downgrade. The 9 has a better camera and has 12 system ram vs 8 on the 10a.
And the ultrasonic fingerprint scanner

If you chose the Store/Pixel credit for the battery issue last summer, they sent a code for $150 off a future Pixel. With that and the trade-in credit for the 6a, it makes the 10a about $250. I'll take that deal!
My understanding is that code cannot be combined with the $100 off code. It's one or the other...

I've had my share of phones. A while ago I purchased a Pixel after doing months of research. Let me tell you it was nearly instant regret, but I kept it hoping it would get better. Nope, things only got worse. This is supposed to compete with an Iphone? My work Iphone 14 puts this Pixel to shame. Can't begin to tell you how much I despise this thing and will never own another Pixel. Garbage!

It's only going to work out to be a good deal if there is a high enough trade in offer you can take advantage of. Trade in values are generally inflated briefly after a phone launches.

Many of us would say the opposite. I switched to an iPhone 12 Pro awhile back and while I'm not going to call it garbage, iOS is just so far being Android. Happily back to using a Pixel 9a. I did pick up an iPhone 13 Mini as a secondary device mainly for something really small to shoot video with since it's hard to find small phones these days and I own an iPad I use sparingly. But iOS is too lacking to want it to be my primary device unless I was heavily reliant on it's superior video capabilities on a regular basis.

Not particularly. It's the inflated trade in values that make it interesting.
