Seems a little awkward, but I do like the idea. Might give it a go, as it's likely better than using pillows. My only reservation is that it reminds me of the single use kitchen device, in that I will only utilize it for the one thing versus a pillow which has multiple uses

Been looking at adjustable beds but I wonder if this would do just as well considering the price difference. Anyone have experience with both and how do they compare?

Don't eat off a fabric pillow unless you enjoy a side of dust mites, dead skin cells, and whatever else has accumulated in there. Fabric is porous and nearly impossible to sanitize properly, so food particles and moisture will get trapped and breed bacteria. You're basically creating a petri dish that you'll eventually lay your face on again. Get a proper plate or at least use a hard, washable surface—your immune system will thank you.

Why I didn't know that this thing existed when I had to sleep 6 weeks sitting in the bed after rotator cuff surgery

I think it's a low risk low cost option before you invest in an adjustable bed which is in the thousands SmilieI have an adjustable bed, and I still find myself sitting with the pillow in the back to sit me up because reaching/trying to find the remote for a bed is more frustrating than sitting up a pillow. An adjustable bed is great in theory. I don't use the adjustable feature as much as I thought I would. Smilie
