Kind of crazy how putting a soda in individual bottles can triple the cost. I can get a 2-liter (67oz) of generic Coke Zero for $1 at Kroger and Walmart.

Yeah. I love Walmart's $1.00 for 2 liters compared to Coke's ($2.97) and Pepsi's (2.64) 2 liter products.

High pricing is getting way out of hand with the big brands. I find myself buying much less soda now and when I do, I also just go with either the $1 Walmart bottle or the $4 Walmart 12 pack cans.

Not sure what you mean by tripling the cost by putting into individual bottles. Coke at actually slightly cheaper (per oz) at $4.27 for the six pack vs $2.97 for 2L. I think you mean its crazy how putting a brand name on it can triple the cost.
