If you don't already have the tools or spline, I would get this kit [a.co] and call it a day. Double the price but includes metal roller, spine, and knife.(I just shared it as a deal but linking directly to it for this thread). I've never used the pokey stretcher thing, but maybe it would be nice, I would fear I'd break some screen holes but maybe I don't know how it works.

Highly doubt these are fiberglass. But how can they advertise as is?

Knowing how to replace a screen is great, especially if you have pets, kids, or drunk friends. This is a pretty good price if you already have the roller (most kits include one but unless you pitch it, you're not likely to need more than one, the rubber gasket can probably be reused or you can pick up a spool of it fairly cheap. 48" wide will probably result in a lot of waste for most standard screens, but could be good for screen doors; grabbing a roll for that purpose.

why do you doubt that? Fiberglass is very common for screen rolls and regular price for $15.xx seems about normal, maybe even on the slightly cheaper side for a roll of this size.

According to description:
Yes, the TOOLTRIZ Window Screen Replacement is just the screen mesh material only.
What's included:
1x fiberglass screen mesh (48" x 118")
No installation tools or hardware
You'll need to purchase installation tools separately (spline roller, spline cord, utility knife) if you don't already have them.

I have a front storm door that has a torn screen and the screen rolls up & down, I need to figure out first how to remove the old one so it can be replaced. The door is from Lowes that I got a few yrs ago.

I prefer the Kevlar screens. They let in fresh air but keep bullets out.

There are $4.99 options in the related products. I assume SD is collecting the price difference for promoting this trash.
