It was $355.xx last week, but it is still good for this price. It is better than expected. It was manufactured in Jan 2025, and the battery is healthy. Originally I planned to buy a $200 laptop with minimum spec and then upgrade the RAM and SSD later.
However, the RAM and SSD cost a few hundreds.
So I ordered this laptop instead.
For this laptop, the sum of parts are more expensive than the price of laptop.

Was deciding between laptops for about a week ago and this was one of the options due to how cheap but powerful it seems. Obviously wont be outstanding building quality but for the price you get some great specs. 226v CPU with the 130v iGPU, touchscreen if it fancies you. I went with the slightly beefier Acer, but this was option 2 for the portable laptop.

This is a deal if it fits what you want at a budget! I helped someone shop for a laptop a couple of days ago around this $350-$550 and man, it is HARD to find what you really want because everything is a trade-off.

We'd find one that was great, but he was trying to find the rarer 16.5+ inch screen because he does a lot of AutoDEsk apps for engineering -- turns out his Framework Desktop is so much faster than anything but another expensive laptop, his mind was blown when I showed him Chrome Remote Desktop AND Windows app \ Remote Desktop.

He said "ok I was gonna spend at least $1200 i don't have to do that now. I just need a screen and enough to last for light use."

Which was right.

I forgot what we e

How I wish this could have a hinge that is fully swingable and not only 180, for tablet-type use. Then Win 11 Pro and not Home.

But still very attractive and may end up getting it! Afterall this is a great brand (Acer) and not an evil one like Dell that is among the universal boycott brands! that provides most features that matter, including Backlight KB, Touch screen, and C-USB PS.

btw and anyone know what the Watt power supply is on this? (Wonder if I can use my Lenovo ones on this).

Something to keep in mind. I bought https://www.ebay.com/itm/256960845305/ Acer Aspire from Ebay last week. It can not be upgraded to Pro. I tried everything and finally heard from Acer
Per Acer. This issue may be caused by the fact that your Windows 11 Home key is stored in the BIOS for easy retrieval
