No. It's a transmitter only. Here's one that's similar that's a transmitter & receiver: https://www.amazon.com/EITIPOK-So...hlbWF0aWM=

That ups the versatility. Is there a model that does this via 3.5mm for the plane but also can transmit from a USB-C source?

ie: if i wanted to use two Bluetooth headsets simultaneously to watch an Ipad or Android device.

Or is the answer to just get a headphone/USB C dongle and attach to this?

I got this [amazon.com] one last time for $13. Wondering the feature comparison given the huge price difference now.

Avantree voyager is a superior product. Ive had the Mii, airfly, etc. and the audio is always lagging.
That thing is like $60-100 for basic bluetooth rx/tx device. way over priced.

I have a UGREEN CM403 which has been decent, it's pretty barebones though, no fancy screen but it transmits and receives. I haven't used it on a plane though...

FYI, reviews & item description mentions it doesn't work with all Airpods/Airpod Pros, etc.
The product page specifically says that they do work with all AirPods and AirPod Pros, except the AirPod Pro Gen 2.

What is this for? If you are on an airplane that doesn't have bluetooth entertainment system yet?
I can't say I fly every day or anything but in the last few years I think I've only been on one plane across United, Delta, and American that had Bluetooth entertainment. And I think it was an international flight on a Dreamliner. Is this actually more common and I just fly crappy routes?

Where are you applying these codes? Is it in that "add promo code" box with a slidebar beneath the change payment option? I haven't been able to get them to work and it's kind of difficult navigating around it without hitting the giant yellow purchase now button.

Keep in mind that most airplanes are transitioning to in-flight entertainment over WiFi: connect your tablet/laptop/phone to the WiFi and you can typically browse their in-flight entertainment on your device's browser.

Your device will likely have a larger and better quality screen than whatever is in the headrest in front of you, will connect to whatever headphones you have (obviously), and you don't have to poke the person in front of you in the back of the head every time you browse through the available entertainment.

The number of flights which have in-flight entertainment, do not have in-flight entertainment available over WiFi, have in-headrest screens, and do not connect to headphones over bluetooth seems vanishingly small, to the point that if you ever encountered such an inconvenience surely the backup of the provided earbuds would do for such an extremely uncommon situation.

Unless your plane doesn't need it, like all the ones I've been on in the last year..

XR/AR glasses completely changed how I view content on planes now. I don't even want to use in flight entertainment anymore
