Sadly shows like this are for a niche, shrinking fandom today so studios will never invest money to make them HD. The fact that '90s shows like DS9 with decent fandoms couldn't even justify HD remasters gives me little hope.

I totally get it. But the show is so old the HD transfer doesn't make that much of a difference. Glad you got it 😄

Check out the footage from Paramount+ vs on FAH. Definitely makes a difference in HD despite the age

If you folks chatting about SD vs HD want to see a quick compare. Check out the old A-Team on H&I vs Sundance. For me it was like watching a different show. It became cinematic if that makes sense.

I felt the same way too till recently. I held out on buying Mad Men for the longest time until recently, got it for $25 HD. Then just a few days ago they had Mad Men on sale for $20 IN 4K!

To each their own. I have P+ from Walmart+ so I have access to the HD version, and I am okay with not owning the show for now, especially for SD definition. The Mad Men 4k remaster was just an issue on HBO max because they got sent the wrong files. I did pay the 20 bucks and upgrade to 4k for MM and it looks amazing
