Now this is, solely based on ram, a good deal. First one I have seen where the ram is not slower than Father Time. Transfers and latency are on point for the model in this bundle. This does seem to be more productivity oriented but the way the market is now that ram justifies the entire price especially if you want to get the performance out of that CPU and GPU(especially high end)

Do you know why it's getting downvoted then? Is it probably because people are frustrated with ram prices generally?

Maybe nobody wants an "ICE" motherboard right now?

This deal is better than it seems, because I'm pretty sure that free 2tb portable SSD, can be disassembled, and the drive inside is NVME.

You are correct. Performs like a PCIe 3.0 with QLC NAND, so it'll get the job done as a boot drive.

That's worse than the speed advertised when within the enclosure. Also, that video is from two years ago. Others said they shucked a 2TB and got a similarly gimped drive out. It works, but not at a decent speed. https://www.reddit.com/r/DataHoar...t/o4ksja6/

How much would this bundle be if we didn't have this stupidly high Ram price?

Is this only a good deal based on current RAM pricing? Seems like I might be in for $2500 easy once you add a GPU to match CPU performance without either being a bottleneck for the other component. Then needing a case, 1 higher performance drive, sufficient cooling, and solid PSU to power it all

It's decent but not as good as that 64gb dominator RAM deal with the ASUS Dark Hero the other day. For this deal, if they replaced the SSD with a 2-4GTB M.2 it would be pretty solid.
