This bundle stands out as a strong value for the 64GB DDR5 memory and high end CPU and motherboard combo, with the RAM speed and latency called out as matching the model rather than being a weak link. The free 2TB portable SSD adds extra appeal, and the included air duster is a nice bonus. The SSD may need to be opened up to use the internal drive, and its performance is described as more like a PCIe 3.0 QLC drive than a fast enclosure. A CPU cooler is also needed, so the package works best if you can use the extras and do not mind the storage compromise.
Data hoarders or anyone who just needs a large boot/storage drive because the included "free" 2TB portable SSD is described as potentially disassemblable with an internal NVMe drive, making it useful beyond the enclosure.
PC builders who want to maximize CPU performance with 64GB DDR5-6400 because commenters said the RAM is a standout in this bundle (transfers and latency match the model) and that the RAM helps justify the bundle price when you want to "get the performance out of that CPU and GPU."
People assembling a high-end AMD system who are okay with doing a bit of tinkering because commenters noted you may need to remove the external packaging to install the portable SSD into the PC, and that a CPU cooler is also needed.
Buyers expecting the included 2TB portable SSD to hit enclosure-advertised speeds because commenters said the shucked drive can be "gimped" (works but not at decent speed) and may perform like PCIe 3.0 with QLC NAND-usable as a boot drive but not necessarily matching the enclosure's performance claims.
People who care about strict BIOS behavior on the motherboard because one commenter claimed the X870 AORUS ELITE ICE board ignores BIOS rule settings and "just does whatever it wants to do."
Upgraders who already have a better 64GB DDR5 deal in mind because one commenter said it's weaker than a prior 64GB Dominator RAM deal and suggested swapping the included SSD for a larger/faster 2-4TB M.2 to make it more solid.
The internal drive is described as performing like a PCIe 3.0 SSD with QLC NAND, so it should work fine as a boot drive. It may not match the enclosure's advertised speed and can feel gimped compared with a proper M.2 SSD.
No. A CPU cooler is still needed, and the SSD must be removed from its external packaging if you want to install it internally. The bundle does include the CPU, motherboard, 64GB RAM, portable SSD, and an air duster.
Yes. The included 64GB DDR5-6400 kit is described as matching the model's expected transfers and latency, making it the main value driver in the bundle. It is especially useful if you want to get the most performance out of the CPU and GPU.
It can reportedly be disassembled, and the drive inside is NVMe. The enclosure has to be removed before installing it in the motherboard, so it is not a drop-in internal drive as shipped.

Now this is, solely based on ram, a good deal. First one I have seen where the ram is not slower than Father Time. Transfers and latency are on point for the model in this bundle. This does seem to be more productivity oriented but the way the market is now that ram justifies the entire price especially if you want to get the performance out of that CPU and GPU(especially high end)

Do you know why it's getting downvoted then? Is it probably because people are frustrated with ram prices generally?
That's worse than the speed advertised when within the enclosure. Also, that video is from two years ago. Others said they shucked a 2TB and got a similarly gimped drive out. It works, but not at a decent speed. https://www.reddit.com/r/DataHoar...t/o4ksja6/
Is this only a good deal based on current RAM pricing? Seems like I might be in for $2500 easy once you add a GPU to match CPU performance without either being a bottleneck for the other component. Then needing a case, 1 higher performance drive, sufficient cooling, and solid PSU to power it all

It's decent but not as good as that 64gb dominator RAM deal with the ASUS Dark Hero the other day. For this deal, if they replaced the SSD with a 2-4GTB M.2 it would be pretty solid.

You are correct. Performs like a PCIe 3.0 with QLC NAND, so it'll get the job done as a boot drive.
