400lm is less than a 40w bulb. This is not what I would even remotely consider 'ultra bright', and I can't imagine pulling my ceiling light down every month to charge it.

Thanks for pointing that out about the 40w bulb. I agree with not wanting to charge this every month or so. It might be a hassle.

I bought two of these for $23 a while back. I had been using some led bars (like for under cabinet lighting, but quite long) previously in a coat closet and a larger pantry closet with shelves. With the 10000mAh battery these are much better.

They are bright enough, but I don't need to charge them nearly as often as the strips (which generally need monthly charging). I guess it depends how often you use the closet, but it's been 5 months and I've charged one of them.

Returned mine. Died quickly after first charge. After 2nd charge there was a strong nail polish remover smell coming from the inside compartment. Per Google it was leaking from the lithium ion battery.
