I have this keyboard and it works very well for me overall. The switches feel good.

My only complaint is I don't like the placement of the arrow keys. It's too easy to accidentally hit the end key. So I got a small arrow key only keyboard for when I do presentations.

Yes, I have a higher end Keychron Q6 custom wheel and I have both brown and banana switches. I prefer the banana because they are quieter than the red but nice and clicky.

Maybe use Via to remap End to do nothing on the main layer, and actual End functionality on another layer.

Wow, the Brown switch model is actually $49! If only they had a Blue switch model, I'd be all over that!

I literally just ordered a K1 V6 with browns at about twice this price.. This price has me tempted to get it as a 'spare' keyboard for use with other computers, but I couldn't get used to the 'squashed' 75% & similar layouts in the past so I think I'll just stick with the K1 SE the V6 is replacing.

I have been using my K4 V2 100-key keyboard with Brown switches since 2020, and I am very happy with it.

Is this going to be an upgrade or a downgrade if I want to get another one for office use? Is it too noisy for office use?

I have the K3 with Banana Switches.

I love them. They are the closest to replicating the feel of the buckling spring model m I can find.

I have a K2 Pro and a K2 Max. They each shipped with browns, but I quickly swapped them out for U4 Silents since I prefer dead quiet switches. The 75% layout is perfect for me; I like a small keyboard, but need function keys. I thought I would use the Via remapping, but I don't bother since I need to run Karabiner for the native keyboard anyway.

The Bluetooth on the K2 Pro is TERRIBLE. It results in missed and stuck keys constantly even though the keyboard is inches away from my laptop. So now it's a wired keyboard. I recently got the K2 Max for the 2.4GHz wireless feature, but the Bluetooth on it seems to work fine.

The company is kind of shit as far as firmware updates and support goes. But the keyboards are inexpensive and I like the layout, so I'm happy overall.

Keychron is amazing keyboard value, super solid - no complaints. No software, just the website is dope too. I hate stupid peripherals that all need their own resource hog software running in the background. Keychron you just go to their sleek no non-sense website, it finds your keyboard and boom theres all your settings.

I have never used one of their wireless keyboards though.

I'm usinsg the K3 from the previous deal. The brown switch has more bounce than the cherrymx brown, which i like. I need a bit of noise that is not as obnoxious as the cherrymx blue, so imma try this banana switch. I hope they will be as good as the gateron white switches.

I'm looking for one that I can use for work. My keyboard everyone can hear plus I type 40wpm so they called me machine gun Kelly for a while... I'd like to avoid that again
