I have this laptop and lived with her for a few years. It has the dreaded combination of a 14" high resolution dim screen. For those with "not great" vision this means that the screen has both small letters on the screen, and is not very bright.
I currently use it on max brightness and have to increase the text size to work with it. My new laptop has a 16 inch screen and 400 nits. It's a WORLD of difference. Save your eyes. Spend more on something that has at least a 325+ NITS screen.

So add another 8-16gb stick of memory, for dual CH mode, and will perform well for most.
