The video is a bit wordy, but follows all the recommendations I've seen for electric tooth brushes. You shouldn't scrub your teeth or apply too much pressure when using any electric toothbrush, you let the brush do the work and just move from tooth to tooth, pausing each time. That said, I've heard that sonic tooth brushes can be just as effective as the Oral-B type, and possibly safer on gums.

  • For most people, brushing time, technique, and brushing twice daily matter more than whether the powered brush is sonic or oscillating‑rotating.
