As someone who had a Vertuo machine, I would recommend this one. The vertuo pods can get pretty expensive quickly and you can only buy original Nespresso vertuo pods due to the patent. The pods for this machine are original Nespresso pods and they are no longer on a patent protection and can find them pretty cheap from 3rd sellers. Just my 2cents

I have the plus and I'm contemplating getting this. No issues with the plus other than the expensive coffee because of their patent. Both these machines make excellent coffee, but you'll save a lot per cup with the original line.

We have the older Essenza Mini (Breville-branded) and it's going strong after about 2 years with daily use. Highly recommended for easy espresso for us "coffee non-snobs" Wink

There will always be a better espresso out there, but you won't get it in 30 seconds for 50 cents and no cleanup.
