If someone sends you a 1099 Misc, and it is not correct, how can it be disputed with the IRS?
I tried to reach out to the company that issued it, but it falls on deaf ears.

i have proof it is wrong. i received a check from a company, and they put the wrong amount on the 1099. I have a copy of the only check i received, and that is what the amount should be.
