I bought that remote for $28 and it is amazing. Bright buttons, hefty feel with the battery loading it, USB charging at your recliner so equipped, and a find the remote function, brilliant typical Roku design.

But the credit card was the side deal, you don't have to get the credit card. I just checked, it didn't affect my credit score, still 800+, and I have tons of cards.
If you have the Amazon credit card, which many do, or you were planning to get one, this would be a good time, as they have the great AV bonuses. Like having the Target or Walmart or Costco. Except you know, 10% for the TCL TV, or 15% for the Roku Ultra (up to 25% on some Roku things), lots of other deals.
The main thing as I said was, you can get this device within 2 bucks of its all time low according to 3Cs, and two most recent front page deals, beating one by almost $10.
If you don't want it, don't get it, but I can highly recommend the remote alone, if you are in the market. No batteries and brightly lit
Last TV buying season (2025 Superbowl) I got the TCL Q7 TV and it has a great remote, the one on the QM7K is less than I expected, its too dim to see and kind of cheap plastic.
you can probably just find the business account setup bonus for $100 without the credit card. For me it popped up after. Took two minutes. Again these are side deals.
EDIT: I checked all the agencies, and I cannot even see a hard pull. One even said I had a hard pull coming off, and said it's not a big factor in my score anyway. YMMV but maybe if you have Amex accounts, and business accounts, and its a store card of sorts,they just run with their internal data. Don't know, but glad it had zero impact, my score went up actually.
