If not which app is better?
Anything will work well in the oven. I also char my steaks on the grill and then finish in the oven. These thermometers will be great for the oven part. Love that they have 5 sensors in them so I don't have to worry if I got a perfect center. Also I like that the lowest temp is sent to the base. So you don't have to open the app to see all 5 sensors, the lowest temp sensor will be the one you see as the temp on the base.

I hate the Meater+. Total regret, and I can't return it as it's a gift. But you probably won't feel as burned on this $20 device. Just keep your range expectations in check.
