In my experience HD won't price match with their own clearance prices. What I've done to get around this is to buy a cheaper one, and then return that one new in box using the receipt from the first one you purchased, assuming your still within the return window.

So if the website just shows that all of my stores have it, but it is listed at $99 and there is no "check clearance price in store" logo, then I'm out of luck yes?

Most likely. HD has surprisingly been very accurate with their clearance markings on the website.

Probably, but if the Home Depot is neaby or you will be by one soon, I think it is worth checking in-store. I have the Home Depot app on my phone and am able to scan the barcodes to check the actual in-store price. Prior to getting the app, I would just ask the cashier to check the price on clearance items before I purchased.

My assumption would be that they wouldn't honor it just because it's on clearance, but it's really up to the rep. They are kind iffy about doing price adjustments. I'm going to put myself on blast here; I had them price adjust a fancy air fryer 3 times probably within 3 days lol cuz the price kept droping from other stores during the holiday season. When i tried to do it a 3rd time the rep said u already got 2 price adjustments, what do you need help with? she seriously said that.

someone in my family has a ryobi impact driver with 4ah battery in the garage. should i stick to ryobi? I was keeping a close eye on ridgid tools because a lot of ppl here kept praising its LSA, which is a nice to have.

Your best bet is (and this is what I've done) to do a return and
re buy. What this means is you return it for a refund ( you only need your receipt) and then re buy it at the new lower price. Home Depot would rather do it this way instead of doing a price adjustment.

It's possible that the stores in your area just haven't marked them down yet. Keep one in your cart or saved for later list and check the price again at least weekly going forward.

One question, I see conflicting data on whether it's 1 battery or 2? It shows 2 batteries on the listing and in one other spot but the website also says includes 1 battery. I guess i'll find out soon enough.
