And they really are beautiful. I don't mind leaving it out on my stove top after cleaning.
ETA: but lose that ridiculous clown hat oven mitt. It demeans both cook and cooking vessel alike.
I also have a nicer Chantal Dutch oven, slightly bigger.
I can tell you the heat retention is much better on the nicer brand. I made sourdough at the same time in 2 separate ovens and the cheaper one cooled off much quicker than the Chantal.
Thats probably the diet thing i noticed.
