The Roku Ultra 2024 is a fast, reliable 4K streamer with Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and multiview support, and it is especially appealing for existing Roku accounts that can surface the $50 My Offers price with free shipping. The bundle adds the Voice Remote Pro, which makes the device and remote combo more attractive than buying a replacement remote alone. It is also praised for stable everyday use and a solid Ethernet connection. Main caveats are the missing 3.5 millimeter headphone jack, no sideloading, and reports that the deal price or cashback offer does not appear for every account.
Roku account holders who can access "My Offers" because commenters report it can show $50 (plus tax) with free shipping, making the effective price lower than the standard listing.
projector setup owners who were considering an Apple TV because this comes out to about $52 after the 15% rewards, which is a big savings versus a ~$150 Apple TV option.
Fubo TV subscribers upgrading from an older Roku Ultra because this model supports multiview while the older one doesn't.
people who want a Roku Ultra for its intended, reliable streaming use because one commenter says theirs has been solid for years and "never lagged or been slow."
buyers who specifically need gigabit Ethernet because commenters say new streaming devices should include built-in Gigabit Ethernet and this Roku Ultra doesn't appear to have it.
people who want to use wired private listening with the remote because commenters note there's no 3.5mm headphone jack on the Roku voice remote.
buyers who plan to sideload apps because commenters say it's "not for side loading purpose," and recommend other devices (like an Onn Android box) instead.
people who care about the fastest/snappiest streaming box performance because commenters say Roku is slower/subpar versus Onn and Apple, and that you'll miss a better experience elsewhere.
