The Roku Ultra 2024 is a fast, reliable 4K streamer with Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and multiview support, and it is especially appealing for existing Roku accounts that can surface the $50 My Offers price with free shipping. The bundle adds the Voice Remote Pro, which makes the device and remote combo more attractive than buying a replacement remote alone. It is also praised for stable everyday use and a solid Ethernet connection. Main caveats are the missing 3.5 millimeter headphone jack, no sideloading, and reports that the deal price or cashback offer does not appear for every account.
The Roku Ultra can be purchased for $50 plus state sales tax with free shipping via Roku account My Offers.
The Roku Ultra can deliver a strong wired connection experience through its Ethernet port.
The Roku Ultra supports multiview, which can matter for Fubo TV setups.
The Roku Ultra can support 4K streaming across Ultra generations, which helps keep existing content compatibility.
The device may not include gigabit Ethernet, which can be a drawback for wired network users.
The remote lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack, which limits private audio options.
The advertised 15% back may not appear in the deal flow for some checkout sessions.
HDR10+ support is limited to 2020+ Roku Ultra models, which can affect HDR format expectations.

"Cinematic streaming: This TV streaming device brings the movie theater to your living room with spectacular 4K, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision picture alongside immersive Dolby Atmos audio."
I have an older Roku Ultra on a LG C3 - does that mean content streamed through that Roku does not give me 4K or HDR10+?
FWIW, I don't see a discernable difference if I view Peacock, for example, via the TV App or the Roku app. And I can tell the difference in Plex between a 1080P movie vs a 4K movie. But I haven't looked it that closely either.

If you're used a Roku Ultra before, they're super stable for the most part. That said, I'm replacing an older Roku Ultra from 2022 and reuse it in another room. It's still fine, but with that $50 offer for existing Roku accounts, as Lostlink mentioned, that's hard to pass up on.
