Honestly, I bought a Firefly guitar and it turned out to be actually good. Theres a firebird at Guitars Garden website. Check it out. They're affordable because it's not a big brand, but I can vouch for the craftmanship and hardware.

I absolutely HATE these models. They are NOT Neck Through, and the Headstock sucks. Gibson Cheaped out on these.

Totally agree! You can get a nice used "neck-through" Firebird for the same price as this crap!

Not a Firebird fan but $700 off doesn't come too often. You could afford it! Get the Sweetwater card and the free 36 month financing. $50 a month!

This model didn't make any sense. Awful headstock and no neck thru which are the things that make Firebirds great. No Steinbergers either which are the best tuners. Firebirds are my favorite guitars and I would never buy this version. Hate how Gibson messed with them, all they had to do was keep the previous generation specs and put some unique colors like every other model they make.

The epi firebird at $500 is neck through, walnut with CTS pots and real firebird pickups.....a third the price and more like the original.
