I use a similar one to load and unload heavy items from my pick up truck.

Just checked this out at my store. They had 2 out of the box. FYI the platform on these is rather small. I thought it might be a good solution to use with my lawn mower or snowblower but no dice.

My store showed 2 in stock, and when I got there they had like 10 stacked in the main aisle on display for the $115 price
Which state are you in? I'm in TX and most stores are $196. Only one place showed $169

Niche use, but it was a lifesaver replacing my double oven.
I actually just got home with one of these to use while replacing my oven! No idea what I'll use it for after, but I'm sure there will be another use in the future.

Not sure where you are in TX, but with a quick search I found many in the Dallas area like 3850 S Carrier Pkwy, Grand Prairie, TX 75052 has 3 on clearance. Some stores might show 1 in stock as clearance, but if you don't see the aisle number on the site, most likely it's out of stock. However, there is trick where you can buy it at full price at a store that has it in stock, then bring the receipt to the store that has it on clearance to do a return/rebuy to get the clearance price. You don't even need to bring the item in.

500lbs? Hmm... For rolling the mother in law into the cargo area of your pickup or SUV?
