I use a similar one to load and unload heavy items from my pick up truck.

Just checked this out at my store. They had 2 out of the box. FYI the platform on these is rather small. I thought it might be a good solution to use with my lawn mower or snowblower but no dice.

I've been looking for one of these for working on small engines. I do plan on making the platform bigger to accommodate mowers. I like the fact that it's not heavy and the height matches my Maverick tailgate perfectly. Thanks OP.
Another Maverick owner here -- thanks for the info!

Unfortunately, it's $179 here in northern MD.

Fun fact. when I was in Japan I noticed pickup truck beds to be much lower to the ground and that was so it would be easier to load and unload.
Its a wonder what you can pull off when customers stop demanding 19" wheels and a transfer case for 4x4 under the bed.

Looks like you cannot fold the handle thing down, so it will take a lot of space (for me) and hence not suitable, sadly.
The handle attaches with two hex bolts. Pretty easy to set up and could probably easy change them out for thumb screws it you need to remove regularly.

The road conditions in Japan are so much better than US. No potholes, much better pavement all over. You probably need the big wheels in the US.

Own something similar--lets me replace the water heater. And with rock-hard water that's something that gets done all too often.

Oy, $179 in MA. I was going to take the wheels off and use this as an adjustable height plyo box!

But will the 500 lb weight limit be enough?

Wanted one since this is like half the price of the same HFT model...but none available in stock around me. Maybe that's for the best, the idea would be to save my back...but I might throw my back out picking this up.
