Garmin's are very different from apple or Samsung. They lack some smart features but the battery life is amazing and they are great for tracking activities.

You are not the target audience for this then. Garmin has far better metrics, structured workouts, recovery insights, and more reliable GPS for several types of workout along with workout editing to track specific metrics such as heart rate zones, running zones, etc., route creating and uploading from Strava, and so much more. Definitely not the same.

When I read Garmin and watch, it made me think about wandering around large European cities. How COOL, to be able to have a map on your wrist? Instead of walking around like a dork with your phone out 24/7? No such thing yet??
