Hackable. And not the vac-link version.

Still a beast and nice to roll around with tools with the PACKOUT system

I returned this. It's much bigger and heavier than I thought - so much so that my conventional corded shop vac is more convenient.

How is the corded version more convenient? It's supposed to be rolled around. Are you carrying it with you?

I got this too. Like the other person said, it's big compared to my ridgid 4gal corded. It's mainly due to the modularity of it, them making it packout compatible, and the bulk of the dolly base.

I know this because I removed the packout top. I was trying to install a relay so I could rig a cheapo "vac link" to it. Anyway, there was so much free space underneath the top. You could probably store a dozen batteries in there. I'm not even joking.

I assume it's because they used one mold for all 3 of their different tops (single battery, dual battery, AC version). I assume the AC version takes up some of that free space you get with the battery version.
