The regular price for the bare tool is $60.
For this kit with the vac, 2ah batt & charger the $129 is a phony retail price.
The kit has been on sale for $50-60 in the past. Most stores no longer carry this kit.
If you hunt through locations online you may find one. After typing in a handful of cities I only saw two listed in stock at a single store in Vegas (#3303 E Las Vegas 89104). They were at the $35 clearance.

I had two of these vacuums and threw them away because they were loud and terrible. Still not a bad deal for the battery and charger.

I have one and I agree way too loud, also the air exhaust is in a spot that it blows around dust you haven't gotten to yet. Poorly designed.

I bought this vacuum (tool only) from DTO with free shipping for $40. It works great as long as the canister is emptied every 5-10 minutes of use. I use it every day. It is my most used power tool. If it were offered at $35, it would be a deal. At my local store, the price is $129. I would not buy it at that price.
