Also not $800+. Not everyone needs 240hz.

Companies should be sued for their blatant lies. It's 60hz.

Is this tv responsive? My current old Roku TV is terribly laggy with remote controls even if the performance watching content isn't laggy

60hz kills it for me. Good price for basic Google tv.

Cable TV and streaming services broadcast in 24 and 30hz. No value above 60 unless you are gaming. Great living room set for 95% of users

Amen. I came here to say something along these lines. This post listing is what is misleading, not the information on Wal-Mart's website where it clearly states "Motion Rate 240". Which, I will say, is still misleading, but not as egregious as saying 240Hz.

This TV will be perfectly satisfactory for most people. It probably won't get super bright but that's going to be part of the deal when you buy a lower end TV. This is a large television from a budget minded manufacturer. I also like that it's direct lit as opposed to edge lit like anything you'd get from Samsung around this price. I think a lot of people could do a lot worse than this for $470.

Anyone looking to buy this TV to game on should probably look elsewhere, but I'll even say that depending on what type of gaming you're doing, even that would be "fine". Most consoles are not pushing any type of visuals to 4K past 60Hz. Some online games allow you to run the online component at 1440p at up to 120Hz, and it thats what you're trying to play then this isn't going to be the TV for you. If you're just trying to play Switch or Switch 2 games, it will be fine for that. Or if you're still using last gen consoles like a PS4 or XB1. There's certainly still a market for these types of TVs to exist which is why I don't understand the overwhelming negativity towards this deal.

Look at either a new roku or fire stick or onn google stick or apple tv 4k. Most tv's they stop supporting the os after a few years. Plus the new sticks/boxes are a lot faster.
