Man, I really want a pair of these to swap audio from my soundbar when I need to limit noise in the house.

But I already have a few pairs of excellent ANC headphones, so I can't justify dropping so much money for this rare situation a few times a month.

I wonder how many people fall into a similar situation.

I think the rumor is Sonos is going to be releasing a few new products this year, if that includes a Gen2 Ace, these will drop even lower - and based on previous products - they will get dumped on Woot!

Got this Sonos last BF deal, compared to my XM4 and XM5 and for music the Sonys sound better. For movies they are on the same level as the Sony. If you have a Sonos system the feature of transferring sound from the TV is Great.

If you don't have Sonos system they are not worth it, other headphones sound better for the price.

Got these when a 40% off coupon for a soundbar worked on the discount ($399) pre-order Ace price. Whoops! At any rate, they're solid build, decent sound quality, long battery life. Not as comfortable on my head as the Sony XM4s and not as good ANC, but okay. The quick switch between Sonos soundbar and headphones is pretty cool. Also, the headphones maintain spatial orientation; when you turn your head, the sound from the TV remains in the same "place". The Sonos app and support for Android phone is... less good sometimes.

I have the XM4 and it's quite tight for my big head. How's the Sonos compared?

The build quality of the sonos is better than XM4 but that makes them tight and feel heavier than the XM4. On the Sonos The ears fit better in the cup but the band at the top feels tight. The Sonos are more for use at home. The Sony XM4 and XM5 are to take with you.

Same and I bought this 6 months ago for that very reason. Now I can watch saving private Ryan without waking up the kids.
