Just like most people said these do nothing for modern cars. I tried these a few years ago and noticed nothing either .
Depends on the quality of the gas you use and how much deposits your car has. The idea is to use this before deposits are bad enough to cause symptoms.

These do nothing to your fuel system if you have a fuel-injected vehicle.
It has PEA in it, it's one of the few things that does work

This is really good stuff. I bought a case on Amazon for the same price per bottle. I add this plus stabil in my five gallon small engine gas can and never have to worry about bad gas. I use a bottle every 3000 miles in my car. Keeps the fuel system clean and running in top condition.

KIA/Hyundia recommend this every 5K ***IF*** you do not use TopTier certified fuel, which has a certified amount of detergent in the fuel (Shell, Costco, Mobil, Marathon, Meijer......) Station listing is here: https://www.toptiergas.com/
These are cheap enough though to fit that recommendation without much regret.

Lots of misinformation in this thread.

  1. For Direct Injected vehicles it will still clean the injectors themselves but it will not help with the inherent flaw of DI, which is excessive carbon buildup in the intake.
  2. For Port Injected and Carbureted vehicles, this product is one of the few that is proven to work (PEA).
  3. Yes "Top Tier" gas might have some PEA but the concentration is relatively low and there are other alternative chemicals as well. It will still help to run extra PEA additive once in a while. And Top Tier gas is not available in all areas (like mine).
Also, the 20oz size is a better deal: https://www.autozone.com/p/techro...740a/27796

For Top Tier locations...is this for all tiers of gas or just the premium?

If you're referring to adding Seafoam into the gas, then yes. Seafoam as a gas additive does almost nothing.
