While the RSL 10e is obviously much better you do have to pay a little more at $330.
These $100 Jamo subs are probably fine if you are pairing it with some cheapo around $100 bookshelf speakers or soundbar with sub out for use on a computer desk or a tiny bedroom and aren't going to playing any audio at high volumes. Getting a much nicer sub like the 10e might be overkill in those situations.

The Jamo S 810 is a slim, budget subwoofer that fits well behind a couch, under a desk, or in a small room, and it adds solid bass punch to bookshelf speakers, music, movies, and light gaming. At around $99, it is repeatedly framed as a good value for modest setups, especially with inexpensive speakers or a soundbar with sub out. The main caveat is performance, since it is not a deep, high output home theater sub and does not reach the low end of pricier options like the RSL Speedwoofer 10E. Shipping damage and occasional power on quirks also come up, so it suits compact, low volume use best.
renters or anyone who needs a sub they can place discreetly (like behind a couch or under a desk) because people report the narrow/ultra-slim form factor "fit great" behind a couch and is convenient to put against a wall under a desk/side desk.
home office setups and desktop systems that want "fill-in bass" at moderate volumes because commenters say it improved a $300/pr bookshelf setup to sound comparable to many $800-900/pr bookshelf speakers when used with an AVR bass management (high pass filter) in a small enclosed room.
people pairing a budget sub with inexpensive bookshelf speakers or soundbar-sub-out for a tiny bedroom or computer desk who aren't planning to play at high volumes because commenters say the ~$100 Jamo is "probably fine" in those situations and that a better sub may be overkill.
movie-focused living rooms and family TV use where you want extra low-end depth but don't need a dedicated theater sub because one commenter says it's been great for movie watching with the kids and music, while reserving the "really good stuff" for a dedicated theater.
buyers who are okay with an entry-level subwoofer and want something to pair with older bedroom-TV speakers because a commenter bought it knowing it wasn't high-end and says it's "perfect" for pairing with 25-year-old bedroom TV speakers.
people who want a compact sub for music and some gaming in a small room because commenters report it provides far more than enough bass for music (with a tiny bit of gaming) when paired with Klipsch RP-160M.
buyers who care about fast bass and don't need deep extension below ~36Hz because one user says it's a "perfect combo" with KEF Q1 Meta since the Jamo is fast and "doesn't hit below 36Hz," so the bass doesn't linger.
people who want a clear step up in sub quality versus better 10-inch options because multiple commenters say the difference vs RSL 10E is "insane" / "3x better," and that there's "no point" to the Jamo unless you don't care about good sound quality.
buyers who are sensitive to shipping damage risk because commenters report units arriving damaged (and note it ships in original packaging), with one saying it came in damaged and another saying their first one arrived damaged.
home theater listeners trying to hit ~20Hz at reasonable volume with low distortion because one commenter says this sub "doesn't do either" and only partially fills lower frequencies well if you have junk speakers.
small-room buyers who already tried larger subs and found them too much because one commenter says they also bought a Klipsch RP-1400sw but it was "too much sub for my tiny living room," and they were unimpressed with owning two of the Jamo.
buyers who need reliable low-volume auto power-on behavior because one commenter says their unit does not auto power on at low volumes and requires turning the volume up to trigger power, then reducing back to normal listening volume.

808 was $115 back then with no discounts. I guess 810 (10' sub vs 8') for $99 is actually a good deal
