I have this and the mic 3. Honestly, this does work just fine, but if you compare them side by side the mic 3 sounds way better. Stand alone though... I'm not sure I would notice. I was using the mini over Bluetooth as well.

This has worked well for content, creation. Voice quality is more than adequate.

I agree just from watching/hearing the demos.
But the 3 was too much for me. Ended up with a full kit of Hollyland Lark MAX 2.

Crazy where we came from...xlr adapters to wireless and now they are very good.

Will this be good for recording while running? Need something that has a strong clip with minimal bounce from weight.

I wish these things had a 3.5mm input for an external lavalier mic. I have some nice-ish ones and a cheaper wireless lav setup. Would rather have something like this

I picked these up on Black Friday and the first use was perfect, no problems. But EVER SINCE, my Mac won't recognize the receiver AT ALL. Tried every permutation of settings and connections, but still can not get the laptop to recognize it! And, of course, my return window closed the week before I officially gave up on them.

I think they'd hold on well enough for you.

I'm just curious how far of a range is the mic limited to from the source?
