While overall, it has a 4.6 averaged review, there are bad reviews to consider including the size is actually smaller than two quarts and the fact that some reported the lid was too tight and could not be removed. Another issue was the plastic smell even after repeated washings. For me, the inability to shake a tea mix is a deal breaker. The design is not spill-proof.

Can concur on the lid fit. I use the 4-quart version of this to measure motor oil. The lid isn't coming off unintentionally, short of blunt impact. You're more likely to dump the entire container trying to get the lid off while holding the ridiculously flexible handle. There's obviously an upside to that, and you can intentionally leave the lid a little loose, but this is not the Rubbermaid pitcher you remember. I guess those gave us all cancer and we don't know it yet. Also, they eventually got brittle and failed catastrophically - I will never test this style for longevity.

This style might actually be mildly better for shaking than the old style ... I don't know what that's all about ...
