These are suited for ONE time use, beyond that the lids are not dependable. Unlike the Rubbermaid EasyFindLids line the lids crack and break. Nothing like packing a meal and have it leak alI over the cooler because the lid leaked. I have used the EasyFindLids line for years. Eventually they age but they were a standby. These are much cheaper.
The EasyFindLid line product I could reliably take along and return with them. The TakeAlongs are sometimes take along and discard.

This has not been my experience with the Rubbermaid TakeAlongs. I have several in the tall-deep shapes. They are the most leakproof containers I've ever used. I've had them for maybe 5 years and not a single cracked lid. They all seal up like the day I bought them.

I'd agree - we bought a couple of sets for the holidays so we didn't have to send off our good stuff with family and hope that it returns. We ended up using them as storage ourselves. They've been thru the dishwasher many times and still holding up pretty well after a couple of years. And if they do crack? We don't care!
