Does anyone know, will this have to be used fully once open or it can be covered and stored?

yes! put the top on tight. These are super handy. They will at least last a year with the top, probably longer but that is how long I have been using it. So far so good!

This works ok but do not use in a place that gets damp/high humidity as the color may change. Less an issue if you prime and coat with good paint. But some in the past have said they can see a little color change under light colors.

Price looks good but the issue will be availability at your local Walmart.

This is great - EVERY single little container of spackle I've ever owned gets a few tiny uses and then dries up. So most nail holes end up costing me like $4.00 to fill!

If you have some primer laying around use it on top of this DryDex before painting.

I wouldn't. It's spackle. Fine for patching and painting, but spackle has very little strength for support.
