If you look at Honey's price-tracking (CCC not helpful here), it hasn't been this low since Dec, and looks like a pretty decent discount:

Has anybody ever used these or similar glass storage containers in the freezer? I worry that they might crack, although that might be some of the lower quality ones only, but I am not sure.

The glass is fine in the freezer, but I just had the tabs break off of the lid when I took it out.

Probably wouldn't have been an issue if I let it warm to room temperature before I removed the lid.Mad

With any glass container, when you are thawing it make sure you're not heating it right away then it won't crack/break.

Borosilicate is made to withstand large temperature changes. It is why so many people prefer the old PYREX to the newer stuff.

All the old ads pushed direct freezer-to-oven cooking as a main selling point. [pinimg.com]

price was honored for a very short period of time. When I first went to Amazon to purchase, it showed $24 but by the time I added to my cart, it jumped to $59.
