There is a large percentage of 1 star reviews which show images of the interior chipping off after low usage. That's what's keeping me from getting one.

Think many of the 1 star reviewers don't realize that these enamel cast iron pots require gradual heating since enamel and cast iron expand at different rates under high heat. Throwing it in a hot oven or over a hot burner will result in the separation of the two elements.
