I have this and it's a nice premium alternative to the blender bottle which has a very cheap lid that always breaks. However there's a little rubber band on this that keeps the lid open, and mine broke after only a few months. The lid is still perfectly usable though, the cap will just close naturally from gravity while you're drinking. Their warranty took care of me though.

There is a metal blender bottle that's the same price as this but it has a better, locking lid. Called the strada
Anyone have this? Can't see a situation where I need to keep a protein shake cold for that long.
I have one in Agave. I love it and love that the whole thing is dishwasher safe. Sometime at work I forget to drink all my shake. This way it won't go to waste. It's still cold after hours of me working.

I had some interest in getting the strada. Does the strada come with a removable seal? I think overtightening the blender bottle lids caused at least 4 of mine to break before I looked elsewhere. The hydroflask has a removable seal, which in addition to providing a good seal, and also (presumably) keeps pressure off of the lid in case you overtighten.

I bought one of these back in October, and I've replaced it with a Blender Bottle Strada Twist.
I play club sports most of the year, and that includes a lot of spring and summer days with hour-plus workouts, 2+ hour practices, and day-long tournaments. I've resigned myself to warm/hot sealed shakes for the latter, but for the first two, a cold protein shake at the end is a nice treat. I also only take my keys into the gym, and an insulated shaker stays cold in my vehicle in the summer. The reasons I switched:
The twist cap. My bottles get tossed around in duffel bags, and the flip cap on the HF made me nervous even though it didn't fail during the few weeks I used it. It's more of a soft seal as opposed to the reassuring click of other lids, and it was pretty easy to open, so I was always worried I was accidentally going to hit it the wrong way while grabbing something out of my bag. The twist cap essentially eliminates that risk.
The lid on the BB secures to the cup with a 3/4 twist, but the HF is more like 1.5. Neither of them have super smooth threading, so the extra travel was a little annoying.
By measurements, the lids of both are just under 4in wide, but because of the brackets that attach the hand strap, the HF feels and stores wider.
I think BB discontinued the Strada Twist, but it looks like they still have the Radian.
Not saying the BB is objectively better, just sharing why I prefer it.
