Would not recommend, zipper came unstiched after very minor use on 2-3 corporate trips.

I have attempted warranty claim 3 times and have gotten no response. Spend a little more for better quality and an actual warranty.

I find bags one of those things where you cannot take a chance in failing so I'd recommend going for one of those Adidas bags, which are on sale for the same price. They might be smaller but far more useful and definitely better looking.

I have the complete opposite experience. I have had my Matein backpack since 2019 and I use it daily. It's been on a handful of international trips and even more domestic. The only thing I have had go wrong is one of the inside mesh pockets has ripped, although I would attribute that to normal wear and tear not build quality.

I have a different but very similar looking Matein backpack (I'm guessing this might just be the next iteration of mine) that I use to/from work every day. I bought it because of the price on a previous sale, but its actually quite a nice backpack. Its held up well so far and the pocket layout/design seems to be well thought out for office/productivity use.

I'm glad your experience has been better than mine!

Half of the US has this backpack now for a reason (look around while at an airport). It's fairly cheap and lasts a long time. I've been using it for a couple of years now for travel etc. and no issues.

Absolutely. I came on here to rep the bag. I actually think mine is about that old, but I'd have to look through google photos to see when it first popped up.
This bag has easily 30k+ miles in travel and I love it

Dimensions are 18.5"x13"x7.9", so if you are flying an airline that allows free personal items that are 18x14x8 (allegiant/spirit/American/frontier), it'll usually pass and get you enough space for most short trips while saving baggage fees.
I've had no issues with this on some more restrictive airlines but I've been careful not to overload so I can squish if necessary in their boxes.

I have used this same model for several months of every day between the office and home. Just car rides, not public transport, so it hasn't been abused. But it works well for me.
But yeah, the ghosting you on the warranty is not cool.
